How do I register to Walk?

Simply visit our Register to Walk page and register to walk in your own community, park, trail, or even beach! Walk after work, or even on vacation.


How long/far do I need to walk?

We ask that you walk for 30 minutes or more. During the walk please pray for your church, the wounded in your neighborhood, and for God to bless this ministry with more leaders, with success in outreach efforts, and funding, so that we can continue to grow! The demand for our services nationwide is growing and we desire to meet this demand. It is exciting to ponder how these prayer walks will impact our ministry!


How do I gather pledges?

After you have registered, send your friends and family an email with the link to your personal Walk donation page. This page will display your Walk’s info and provide a quick donation form for your friends/family to donate. For any in-person donations, we ask that you fill out a donation form to mail into the Healing Hearts office. These forms are part of the optional (free) brochures that we can mail to you. If you already registered and did not choose to receive the brochures, please use our Contact form to request some. You can also download a printable brochure.


Can I donate to my own Walk?

Yes, you can! Simply visit your Walk page and submit a donation. NOTE: If you are a Healing Hearts Certified Counselor or Trainee, your Walk will qualify you to receive HH Bucks disbursements. Because of this, please keep in mind that we ask that you limit yourself to one personal Walk donation per calendar year (you can donate to others’ Walks as many times as you like.) Consider saving smaller, multiple donations up so that you can donate them once as a larger donation at the end of the year. This practice helps us maintain clean bookkeeping. Thanks!


How can I promote my Walk?

A great way to promote your Walk is to consider purchasing and wearing some Healing Hearts apparel. It is especially impactful to wear the apparel on the day of your Walk, but can also be a conversation starter leading up to your event.

We offer a special “Promote Your Walk” page to each registered walker that contains tools and instructions for premade emails, printable letters, and social media sharing. If you did not receive these emailed instructions, please use our Contact form to request that it be resent.

Be sure to hand out the optional (free) Walk brochures that we provide. If you already registered and did not choose to receive the brochures, please use our Contact form to request some. You can also download a printable brochure.


Why is my name not listed on the Walk home page yet?

Your registration will be evaluated and approved before it can appear on the site, as a deterrent to spammers. After you register, please allow roughly 1 business day so we can review your registration and set up your unique Walk page. Upon approval, you will receive an email containing further instructions for managing your Walk page. It is only after approval that your name will appear on our “Sponsor a Walker” page.
