Pat Shepherd’s Walk for Freedom
My name is Pat Shepherd. I am a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a great-grandmother.
I was first introduced to Healing Hearts Ministry at our church’s Women’s Retreat. At that time in my life, I was not ready to deal with the past and the trauma of my life. I made bad choices and could not be forgiven for my sins. After the Women’s retreat, I avoided the sweet sister who presented Healing Hearts for years until the Holy Spirit touched my heart in a way that only He could, so that I finally surrendered my pride and self, and decided that it was a time for healing.
I took Healing Hearts’ study, and by lesson 4, I knew that I had to share it with other women who shared the same feelings as I did: feelings of hopelessness, guilt, and loss. God, through His Word, offered me His forgiveness, and He is my Hope. God had healed me in a way that only He could. I had freedom through Him, and His word is the truth that set me free.
I have had the privilege to volunteer for Healing Hearts since 2001. I have been blessed to see many women set free and to know the Love of God through His Word and Healing Hearts Studies.
I am asking you to prayerfully consider supporting Healing Hearts Ministry to bring hope and healing to the countless men and women who are hurting.
