Mary Lorence’s Walk for Freedom
I want to tell you about a ministry that I have been involved in since 1999. I went through one of their Bible studies because I had been carrying the guilt and shame of having an abortion 13 years earlier. After going through the study, not only was my life forever changed, but I have been blessed ever since to be involved with Healing Hearts Ministries as a leader where broken hearts and lives are healed and restored, affecting not only the individual and their family, but impacting countless generations to follow. The Word of God is the only way to true healing and freedom, and the change that we so desire to see in our families and our communities. It begins with one heart at a time…one life forever healed and set free by the living Word of God. This is exactly what happens when a broken but courageous soul comes to Jesus for the hope and healing that only He can provide.
Last year, my friend, Cassandra, also a Healing Hearts leader, and I so proudly hiked and asked for support for this amazing ministry in Grand Lake, Colorado. Healing Hearts was so blessed with so many who supported them through the hike. This year, Cassandra and I are going to hike up north at the Clay Cliffs Loop for the amazing leaders and support staff of Healing Hearts. But mostly, we will hike for all of those who need to know that God is the only way that their lives can be healed. I can testify to that in my own life.
