A: Yes. When you make online donations, your information is captured and stored using the safest Internet technology available: SSL – Secure Socket Layer. The SSL protocol is the web standard for encrypting communications between users and websites. Data sent via a SSL connection is protected by “encryption,” a mechanism that prevents eavesdropping and tampering with any transmitted data.
A: All gifts to Healing Hearts Ministries are deductible as donations to a 501(c)(3) religious organization. For specific information regarding the deductibility of your specific type of gift, please refer to IRS Publication 526, Charitable Contributions or consult your tax and/or financial advisor.
A: Yes. As a matter of good stewardship, we strive to provide accurate and timely year-end donor statements (mailed by January 31st each year to all donors who gave combined donations over $250+). If you ever have any question regarding a receipt or posting of a gift to your account, please contact our office directly at (505) 355-6922.
A: You can always find your donation history and download your Annual Receipt of donations under your My Account > Donations page (healinghearts.org/donation-history). If you gave over $250+ in the course of a calendar year, we strive to provide accurate and timely year-end donor statements (mailed by January 31st each year to all donors who gave combined donations over $250+). A: To become a monthly donor, please visit our Make a Donation page. When filling out your donation information check the box for “a monthly donation.” You can also set up a recurring monthly donation through your bank’s bill payment system or you can call the office at (505) 355-6922 and press 0# and our bookkeeping assistant will be happy to help you add a recurring monthly donation to your credit card. Additionally, many businesses offer their employees the option to designate donations with “pre-tax” dollars. Check with your payroll office for more information on this option.
A: The easiest way to designate your gift to a specific project or ministry need is to make your gift online by going directly to our Online Giving Center to make a One-Time Gift or to set up a Recurring Monthly Gift. During that easy and secure process you will be given the option to make a specific designation. If you choose to mail your gift, you can write your designation on the memo line of your check or on the response form provided with the mail you received from us.
A: Yes. Your giving history is confidential and is only available to those involved in the processing of gifts/receipts and the senior ministry leadership. We sometimes receive requests that gifts remain anonymous even from the ministry leadership, and we would be glad to honor that request.
A: If you are a monthly contributor that has set up your recurring donation either on our website or with our office directly then all you need to do is call the office at (505) 355-6922, press option 0# and the bookkeeping assistant will make the changes for you.
A: Canadians can make gifts to Healing Hearts by credit card. Please be aware that gifts are processed in US dollars. However, you will not be able to claim that gift as a charitable contribution for tax purposes. Additional information regarding charitable giving in Canada is available from the Canadian Revenue Agency.

A: There are several ways you can request the Healing Hearts Monthly Prayer Letter. If you are making an online donation, simply check the box to receive mailings and/or emailed prayer letters during your donation process. You can also call the office and request to be added to the prayer letter by calling (505) 355-6922 and pressing option 0#. Or you can sign up for our Newsletter here.
A: Healing Hearts Ministries submits financial data to an independent accounting firm which prepares our annual financial statements. The ministry does not submit those statements for independent audit due to the cost involved. Our books are open for those who are interested.  Financial statements are provided upon request. 
A: To be removed from the mailing list, you can call the office at (505) 355-6922 and press 0#; submit an online request on our Contact Us page; or return the latest prayer letter/mailing received and simply write “Please remove from mailing list” on it.
