“I have been a certified Biblical Counselor through Healing Hearts Ministries since 2005. I have been honored to walk many women through our bible studies over the years and observe them find joy and freedom that is only found in Jesus Christ.
My husband Mike and I live in Southeast Michigan and we attend church nearby. I am blessed with a solid church that wholeheartedly supports the ministry.
For more than twenty years, one of my greatest passions has been walking alongside women who are seeking hope and healing from the hurts of their past. Many carry pain and shame from an abortion decision, consequences of sinful choices, or wounds from sins committed against them. Through the power of God’s Word and the redeeming love of Jesus Christ, we have seen countless lives restored, hearts mended, and chains of bondage broken.
Today, more than 160 volunteer counselors across North America—and in several other countries—faithfully serve men and women through Biblical counseling in small groups, one on one settings, and online Bible studies. We are not paid or licensed professionals. We are men and women who have personally experienced the freedom Christ brings, and we are committed to helping others find that same freedom.
This ministry has been dear to my heart since 2005, when the Lord first introduced me to the Binding Up the Brokenhearted Bible study. Since then, I have watched Him transform lives in ways only He can. None of this would be possible without the generous support and faithful prayers of people like you.
This year, I am praying and believing God for $5,000 to help our counselors reach even more men and women who are in need of hope and healing. Your support allows us to provide resources, training, and—when possible—scholarships to ensure that anyone who is serious about pursuing healing is able to do so, regardless of financial circumstances.
