I feel incredibly privileged to be part of Healing Hearts and to serve alongside women who desire to share the hope of Jesus Christ with those still living in shame, guilt, and hopelessness. For years, I carried confusion, regret, and unresolved pain from past choices without realizing how deeply those things were affecting my life and relationship with the Lord. I would have told you I was a Christian, but I did not truly understand the depth of Christ’s forgiveness or what it meant to be reconciled to God through Him.
In 2017, I participated in the Binding Up the Brokenhearted Bible study through Healing Hearts. I came in nervous and unsure, but hopeful that healing was possible. Through God’s Word, the Lord opened my eyes to His holiness, my sin, and the incredible grace of Jesus Christ who came to redeem and restore broken sinners. For the first time, I truly understood forgiveness and the freedom that comes from bringing hidden pain into the light and resting in the finished work of Christ. Healing Hearts was instrumental in deepening my relationship with the Lord and helping me walk in freedom and truth.
That is why I am passionate about supporting this ministry and helping other women experience the same hope and healing found in Christ. So many women silently carry shame and brokenness, believing they are alone. Healing Hearts points women to the truth of the gospel and the redemption available through Jesus.
