Hi, I am Janet Visbeek, a Healing Hearts leader of the Hem of His Garment Bible study.
As a pastor’s wife and biblical counselor through ACBC, it is a privilege to walk with women from all backgrounds through their struggles. The Hem 10-week Bible study addresses the hurts and challenges these women face. The Hem gives women a way to identify their pain and find hope through the lens of God’s love letter to us, the Bible. I have witnessed true repentance from sin; aha moments to accept Christ’s total forgiveness and reconciliation through the cross; and hope for the future, no matter their past; true freedom to live out their identity in Christ. We also learn through this study that sanctification, growing in Christ, is a lifelong process in relationship with Jesus Christ as His beloved daughters.
Healing Hearts is a gospel-centered, grace-driven ministry that offers hope and healing in Jesus Christ through God’s Word to people who have been broken by sin, healing hearts, healing families, one heart at a time. I hope you will pray for this ministry, pray for me to have God’s wisdom and patience for the women He brings my way.
