Dear friends, relatives, and church brothers and sisters,

It is that time of the year again that I tell you about the Healing Hearts Ministries and why I am committed and passionate about it. First and foremost is because of Christ and His great love and forgiveness in my life after experiencing an abortion many years ago. Their study for post-abortive women was the most God-honoring, complete study I had ever taken or led others through.

In 1988, Sue Liljenberg formed Healing Hearts Ministries to reach out to women suffering Post Abortion trauma. The first study, Binding Up the Brokenhearted was written by her as she sought the Lord in her guilt and shame and discovered that only in Christ and His Word can genuine help and healing be found. This study led to another study, The Hem of His Garment, for women wounded in other ways. Two studies for men followed; then studies for young men and women. The ministry is always expanding and evolving to reach out to suffering people. By last year, initial Spanish translations of all studies had been completed and were now nearing the final stages of publication.

So for these reasons, I am asking you to stand, pray, give to this wonderful ministry, and by all means, consider participating in one of the studies; it truly is life-changing.

I am always available to take individual women through the studies, whether online or in person (HH is a ministry of our church ). After eleven years, I am thankful and blessed when a woman completes the study and is walking in the joy and freedom of Christ. There is truly no hurt, pain, or wound that can’t be healed by the love of Christ and the living Word. What an honor it is to be able to do this work, and I thank all of you who have stood by me through the years.
