I began this study believing I had it all together in my walk with Christ. I had completed much of the ACBC classes, I was a precept leader, I had completed everyone of Jen Wilkins’ studies, yet I had a blind spot. I thought I was more righteous than my husband, and I needed to correct him. The Lord showed me, through this study and the word, that I was lacking patience and that my words were not seasoned with grace as they should be. I have learned to be slow to speak, and quick to listen, and slow to anger. Our marriage is much more peaceful as I have learned to not let every offense become an issue and to just respect my husband by not responding with any words that may sound ungracious.
