realize who I am and who God is

The Hem of His Garment study was suggested to me by a friend, after we were discussing some parallels in our lives. I am so thankful that she told me about it, and I am thankful to God for the study and my mentor, Judi. The study caused me to open up some of the wounds from my past, forgive, and ultimately realize who I am in Christ.

Although I grew up in a Christian home, some of the aspects of my childhood were seated in anything but Christian values. We are a product of our environment, and our world views are based upon what we grow up with. Thankfully, this study made me evaluate some of the “truth“ I held onto all of my life.

We can only look to the Bible for Truth, and follow Christ’s example. This study helped me to walk down a path of realizing who I am, who God is, and how I need to move forward to live a life that reflects Him. Let the journey begin!
