As the chapters build on one another, so does the journey into the depths of the Word as it x-rayed my heart. There were things I was able to share with my counselor for the first time (that I had never shared with anyone). As I walked through this study, hidden things were revealed together with discovering roots of bitterness that had not been uprooted.
The Hem of His Garment, and my dear counselor, have been instruments the Lord used to unveil and expose those issues that had been lying dormant in my heart for so long. Once they were exposed, confession and repentance followed, together with changing my heart in attitude/thoughts/actions. Such is the sanctifying work of God in my life throughout this study. I praise and and thank God for giving us His Spirit, our Great Physician, who delicately filleted my sick heart with the scalpel of His Word. Albeit at times painful, it was necessary to begin the healing and restoration process in my sanctification.
All glory, praise and honor be to God for the power of the Gospel, the power of His blood, the power of the resurrection and the power of His Word in the life of His redeemed!
