healing resides in the living word

This Bible Study helped me to think, see and understand clearly the deep funk I had sunk into for a number of years. The study revealed sin to me that I had lived and unaware remained in me.

The naming of the sins, and in one case realizing the shame I felt was really a sin against God since He had fully covered the sin, yet I held shame toward those I afflicted. I don’t remember exactly what Carmen said when I bemoaned the shame, yet believed God had forgiven me. She said something to the effect that God’s forgiveness covers the offense and the shame. I am fully cleansed of it all!

There are times the shame will arise in my thinking as I feel so deeply my love for my children. I stop the thought and rather and say, ’’it is written, if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgives our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.’’

Much of the study material I had been discipled in prior, yet I needed a refresher. The deep valley I slid down into as a result of comprehensive and chronic sufferings of various kinds as well as aroused triggers of my abused childhood and isolating myself. Often the study jolted me out of my stupor as well as continued to provide a beautiful feast to taste and delight in drawing me to want more, to be energized and growing more in love with God delighting to obey Him. The healing resides in the living Word and this study delivers.
