never too late!

This summer I attended a 40th birthday weekend of a family friend. At 72 years old, I felt awkward and honored spending the weekend with 8 women in their 40’s. It was a spiritual time and each of the woman shared their personal testimonies, their hidden secrets of their past, and how Jesus has saved them. It took three nights for me to finally tell my story of my abortion 50 years ago, at age 22. I cried the whole time. The girls loved on me and they recommended that I take the Healing Hearts bible study, as most of them had already attended it. My closest location to take the class was 3 hours away, so I did it all on line with Susan O. It was wonderful to have a teacher who was near my age. We had a lot of commonalities during the 70’s that we could relate to. I know Jesus put me in the right place at the birthday party and it was just the right class for me. After many tears and prayers, I recognize I am a sinner who has been rescued by a wonderful, saving Savior. I no longer have to take my secrets to the grave. I have given them all to Him. It’s never to late to be in a relationship with Jesus. Thank you for this ministry.
