best bible study

The Good Fight - God’s Plan for Every Man was one of the best Bible Studies I have ever taken. While growing up in the South Bronx, New York City there were discussions about abuse, rape and domestic violence. These types of abuses were not talked about outside of the brownstone tenement buildings. In an effort to understand the impact of evil and suffering on human beings, I read literature regarding the holocaust in Nazi Germany. I began to understand sexual abuse as a form of violence, an abuse of power, a trauma and a kind of oppression. I read about evils unlike anything I had ever imagined. Along the way God has added pastors and leaders to my work as a Christian Counselor and Life Coach. Many Christian leaders are burnt out, chewed up and tossed aside by the victims they try to help. I have tended to victims and to Christ’s shepherds. Sometimes shepherds are victims too. The Good Fight taught me that God has a Plan for Every Man. The Good Fight has reinforced why I am a Christian Counselor and Life Coach today.
