A few months ago Adena Delillo, one of our Healing Hearts
leaders from Branson, Missouri, had an opportunity to travel
to Sweden and share her testimony. We would like to share
her report with you so that you can pray for us and what role
we as a ministry might someday play in ministering to the
women in this country. The condition of this country is
shocking to say the least. These people need God's Word.







The Lord is so Good! I had an amazing trip to Sweden and look
forward to being able to return next year. I spoke to four
different groups, not all the same messages. The groups were small.
I felt this was a trip for developing relationships which will
hopefully open doors for future ministry. I traveled to 4 different
communities, all about one and a half to three hours outside
Stockholm. The largest mixed group was about 75. I gave my
abortion testimony and spoke about God's Healing Word.




Most of the churches in Sweden are dead spiritually.. There are
church buildings on every corner, many with only 25 - 100 people.
100 people in a congregation is considered to be a large church.
The state church has many more on the roles, but still, only few
people attend. The government pays a witch to pray over Stockholm
every day. One third of the nations pregnancies are aborted each
year. The government requires that women work out side of the home
and the children are placed in government run day care centers.
The workers are not able to discipline the children or speak about
Jesus. The suicide rate is extremely high, especially among young
men. The people are oppressed and depressed and many are diagnosed
by the state as having mental illness. This is compounded by
medications for depression and anxiety, along with psychological
counseling that often keeps them in bondage. I counseled a single
woman, age 39, who has been in the system for 7 years, diagnosed
with mental illness all because of past hurts! Less than 3% of the
population are Christian and that number is declining.




The churches are being run, not by the pastors, but by the elders
and they have not changed the way of doing church for 100's of
years. I found that in some cases the elder may not even attend
the church on a regular basis, however is still involved in the
decision making. The young believers are hungry and thirsty for
revival, change and teaching. While many are able to speak English,
because it is their 2nd language, they are not able to read or study
in English very well. I found very few Christian materials and
resources translated into Swedish. I could tell of many stories of
those that I met, but it would be a long report.




I left two Healing Hearts Hem of His Garment studies. One, I left
with a woman who is Pastoring a church that has been abandoned.
She was at one time involved with the nation's Women Aglow, but
has removed herself from it. She counsels many women and was
interested in looking at the study. The 2nd study, I left with a
young woman who I got to know very well. She was my interpreter for
a couple of messages. She is planning on taking our study on line
with me. I am excited to see how she does, going through our study.
She may become a very important link for us, as she has the
capability of translating the study into Swedish. We shall see what
God does. My first priority is for her to experience the study
for herself! I gave out a few of the web site ministry cards to
women that I was able to personally speak to. I know that seeds were
planted and God willing, that I shall return to Sweden, I can
continue to water them. I met women that touched me deeply and I
see such a need for Biblical teaching and training.




Lastly, I attended an evening service at a church in Stockholm.
At the end of the service I was assisting with prayer at the alter.
As the line thinned out, an African Pastor, who was also praying
for those that had come forth, approached me. He said that he does
not take the process of laying-on-of-hands lightly, in fact seldom
practices it, but he felt God instructing him to anoint me with oil
(we had not spoke to one another up to that point). As he began
to anoint my head he spoke these things to me...He said, "because
you have suffered much emotional pain in your past, God is going
to use you to bring healing and deliverance to those that have
emotional issues of pain and hurt, when you enter a place, many will
be delivered....".The word he gave me was a confirmation of what
God has already been doing in my life and an encouragement of the
purpose that God has for my life. I praise God for the opportunity
to serve Him in Sweden, I thank God for the opportunity to serve Him
right here in Branson.




The people of Sweden captured by heart! Pray for Sweden. It is
indeed a country under spiritual darkness.




What we see in this report is socialism at its best. We need to
pray that God would have mercy on our country and that we would not
follow in Sweden's footsteps. The government is not the answer to
our problems. The answer is Jesus Christ! We must all commit to
pray for our President and his administration daily. Pray that God
will capture his heart and make him a man after God’s own heart.
We must believe that God is sovereign and in control of all things.
Change can only happen when we are on our knees. Let us walk in
faith and be bold for the gospel for, "God has not given us a spirit
of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind." II Timothy 1:7





As the apostle Paul said, "I preach only Christ and Him crucified."
May it be so with Healing Hearts and all of you! May the peace of
our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always!
