Beautiful Feet on the Move

To follow Christ is to be sent. Sent beyond ourselves, into the lives of others, carrying the good news of His healing and grace. For Healing Hearts leaders, this means stepping out—exhibiting at conferences, engaging in conversations, and entering moments of ministry with people who have never heard that lasting, biblical healing is possible. Through your prayers and support, you are part of that sending.
We’re excited to share where you have helped send us so far in 2026. |
Bringing Hope to Church Leaders in Idaho |
This spring, one of those “sent” moments took place in Idaho from March 30 to April 1. |
|
|
|
Healing Hearts Certified Biblical Counselor Deb Nyberg represented the ministry at a spring pastors’ conference for the IFCA International Inland Northwest Region, held in Idaho and drawing pastors, church leaders, and ministry representatives from independent churches across the region. The conference theme, “The Pro-Abundant Life Church,” focused on helping churches more fully reflect Christ’s promise of abundant life—making it a fitting context to introduce Healing Hearts and our ministry of biblical healing and restoration. |

Though attendance was smaller than expected, the Lord clearly ordained the conversations that took place.
Deb shared both her personal testimony and the structure of our Binding Up the Brokenhearted study, helping pastors and ministry leaders understand the deep need for biblical care for those impacted by abortion. Notably, none of the churches represented currently had a post-abortion ministry in place.
Yet even in that, there was a clear openness. Questions were asked about our online studies, and meaningful conversations began to unfold. One woman openly shared her struggle with food addiction, while another expressed strong interest in bringing the Binding Up study to her state. Even a simple question about referring to local pregnancy centers became an opportunity to highlight the unique depth of Scripture-centered healing that Healing Hearts provides.
Seeds were planted—seeds that we now entrust to the Lord for growth. |

Six Days of Ministry in Kentucky |
At the same time, from April 6 to 11, the Lord was opening doors on a much larger scale. |
A team of four Healing Hearts leaders—Susan Owen, Terena Green, Irene Pizzimenti, and Teresa Rinker—served at the Answers for Women conference at the Ark Encounter in Kentucky, where over 3,000 women gathered from across the U.S. and Canada.
This year’s theme, “Anchored: Pursuing Biblical Sexuality in a Turbulent World,” created countless opportunities to speak into areas of deep personal struggle with the hope of God’s Word.
Throughout six days of ministry: |
- Conversations unfolded with women carrying grief, shame, and unanswered questions
- Tears were shed, and prayers were lifted up
- Testimonies of transformation through Healing Hearts studies were shared
- New connections were made with those eager to bring these resources back to their churches
|
One youth pastor left with a vision to begin using our youth studies with his teens. Mothers and daughters walked away with renewed hope. Again and again, God orchestrated what could only be described as divine appointments. |
These moments don’t happen by accident.
We go because many churches and individuals are still searching—often quietly—for real, biblical answers to life’s deepest struggles.
Some we meet need to begin their own journey of healing. Others are leaders asking how they can equip their church to care for people in a deeper, more intentional way.
Outreach allows us to meet both. |
🙏 How You Can Pray With Us |
As these events conclude, the work is not finished—it is just beginning, and we need you.
🌱 Pray for follow-up fruit — that those who heard about Healing Hearts would take their next step toward healing and growth in Christ.
⛪ Pray for church adoption — that pastors and ministry leaders would move forward in bringing these studies into their churches and communities.
🌿 Pray for lasting impact — that the seeds planted would bear fruit that endures for the glory of God.
Please also pray for our preparation for the next outreach opportunities in 2026: |
Pray that these events would open doors to connect with biblical counselors, pastors, and churches seeking to equip their people with gospel-centered care. |

When you give, you help us go. And as God opens doors, you help the ministry grow. |
As we go, we are reminded that the beauty of the gospel is not only in what it proclaims, but in where it is carried. Each step taken, each conversation begun, each life touched—these are the quiet ways God uses His people to bring hope to the brokenhearted.
Thank you for helping place “beautiful feet” on the ground where they are needed most.
Going with you in Christ, |
