HEALING HEARTS MINISTRIES

Answered prayers, new leadership, ...and expanding vision!
As we approach the close of this year, I’m reminded of how faithfully God has guided and built up Healing Hearts Ministries International for 37 years. It genuinely excites me to share how 2025 became a year of answered prayer, marking the launch of a season of purposeful planning for the future.

🎯New Leadership. Renewed Mission.
Since our early days, the women of our ministry have prayed for godly men to rise up and help carry our mission—coming alongside the local church to offer Biblical discipleship and counseling materials that uphold the sufficiency of Scripture for facing hard issues. This year, the Lord has answered that prayer in exciting ways.

👤 New Executive Director Appointed!
We are pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has appointed Allan Miller as Executive Director. Over the past 11 years, Allan has served as Director of Marketing and Chief Operations Officer. His steadfast commitment, sharp leadership instincts, and deep love for this ministry make him the ideal person to lead us into this next season. Allan takes over for Terri Knotts, who graciously served in this role for the past 2 years.

🌱 Strengthening Our Ministry Structure
The Board of Directors has also created a new structure to help foster deeper collaboration and shared vision across our women’s and men’s ministries. We are pleased to announce the newly established positions of Women’s Ministry Director and Men’s Ministry Director, to shepherd our ministry branches and serve on our Executive Committee.

We are thrilled to announce that Teresa Rinker will serve as our first Women’s Ministry Director. Teresa brings years of experience and a proven heart for discipleship that have uniquely equipped her to oversee and shepherd our women.
The role of Men’s Ministry Director remains open—but we are trusting the Lord to raise up the right leader in His perfect timing.
Together, these two positions will serve on our Executive Committee, working closely with Allan to foster collaboration, unity, and strategic growth across every area of Healing Hearts.
We believe this is more than an organizational improvement—it is a Spirit-led realignment that marks a true spiritual milestone in our ministry’s story as God positions us to fulfill our mission with greater focus.
Pray for this new team as they work to set a course and “trim the sails” for all God has before us!

🧡 A Board That Lives the Mission
Standing behind these developments with me is a Board of Directors, which includes four devoted men of God:
- John Mulvey
- Eric Anderson
- Scott Garner
- Tracy Bashore
(and me, Sue Liljenberg!)
Each of the men serving with me brings a strong foundation in business and spiritual leadership, but their connection to Healing Hearts runs much deeper. Each one has walked closely alongside his wife, who serves as a Healing Hearts Certified Counselor.
And in a beautiful full-circle moment, several of these men have begun training to become Certified Counselors themselves.
Their presence on the board is more than strategic—it’s personal, spiritual, and deeply meaningful as we look to the future.

🏃♂️Growing Momentum in Men’s Ministry
Our Men’s Ministry continues to gain traction. Through the Pastor Launchpad Program, we’re equipping pastors and church leaders to walk through our men’s studies firsthand. This gives them not only a glimpse of our discipleship materials but a chance to experience this powerful ministry in action.
Here’s what Pastor Ken Brown shared after leading his first Good Fight group:
“We spent an hour hearing each of the men’s stories, and I was grateful to the Lord for His answer to prayer in that each man was very transparent about his past, including many failings/sins. In God’s good providence, the first man on whom I called to share did so in a very candid and moving way, setting the stage for the others to open up in ways they may not have otherwise… I think we’re off to a very promising start..” — Pastor Ken Brown
Vulnerability and openness cultivated in a Christ-centered group setting are at the heart of our ministry model. It's not just a curriculum—it's a catalyst for healing, for accountability, and for spiritual growth among men and women who are often hesitant to go deep.

💛 Help Us Finish 2025 Strong!
As we boldly step into the future, we cannot do it alone. The final months of this year are crucial for our ministry’s financial health and ability to plan. Expansion brings additional cost.
We kindly ask you to:
🙏 Pray — For Allan and Teresa to excel in their new leadership roles; for the Men’s Ministry Director position to be filled; for our Board to have continued wisdom; for financial provision as God opens doors.
💝 Give — Your generous support enables us to train leaders, publish resources, equip pastors, and bring gospel-centered healing to the brokenhearted. Our current budget needs are detailed at healinghearts.org/donate
Whether you’ve been with us for decades or are new to the Healing Hearts family, your support matters. Prayer, financial contribution, and practical partnership enable us to say “yes” to every door God opens—and we believe He’s opening many new doors in 2026!
In many ways, this season marks a new beginning. The Lord has raised up fresh leadership, expanded our vision, and re‑ignited our hearts. We are filled with gratitude — not only for what has been accomplished over the past 37 years — but also in anticipation of what the Lord will do through this ministry in the months and years ahead.
Thank you for standing with us, for believing in our mission, and for giving as you are able.
With warm appreciation and hopeful expectation,
