HEALING HEARTS MINISTRIES

JUNE 2025 NEWSLETTER

Dear Friend,

Because of the Lord's faithfulness to His ministry and your continued support, encouragement, and prayers, we’ve had a great start to 2025 so far!

We have been blessed with brothers and sisters who take time out of their busy schedules to exhibit at these conferences to share the hope and healing that can only be found in Christ, and to trust in the unfathomable riches we have in Him. (Romans 2:4; Eph. 2:4, 1 Tim.6:17; Col. 2:2, 10)

In our March newsletter, we asked you to pray for us as we sent out teams to exhibit for Healing Hearts between March and May. Now, it’s time to share some of the highlights of what God accomplished at these events, while you were covering us in prayer…

March 21 – 22 Canadian Biblical Counseling Coalition Conference

Ontario, Canada – This was our second year at the Canadian Coalition of Biblical Counselors Conference. Kimberley Quinn represented Healing Hearts here and had this to say about the event, "It was a privilege to represent Healing Hearts at this year’s Canadian Coalition of Biblical Counselling Conference in Oakville. In line with the conference’s theme, A New Identity in Christ, the chair of the coalition, David Robinson, brought an excellent opening message emphasizing the foundational truth that our gospel identity is received and not achieved. He challenged his listeners to think about 'whose' you are, more than who you are, to experience a coherent, liberating, stable, restful reality in Christ. Our ministry was well-received, with interest in both our online studies and discipleship programs for men and women. The other big point of interest that created a lot of traffic was having our online platform available for people to view... They loved it!"

March 21 – 22 Answers for Men Conference

Williamstown, KY – A first of its kind, we definitely see this as a great venue for growth. Our Director of Men’s Ministry, Ed Maloney, wrote, "The Men’s ministry is coming of age, growing its own legs. We saw a couple of men join the study after the conference, citing the conference as where they learned of HH. A highlight was getting known amongst prominent male Christian leadership who were in attendance."

March 31 – April 5 Answers for Women Conference

Williamstown, KY – The Answers for Women's conference continues to be one of our best venues. We sent four of our leaders to this event to handle the crowds. One of our Regional Directors, Julie Bashore, wrote, "Answers for Women provided a great opportunity for engagement for Healing Hearts Ministries. Many women were returnees to the conference, but they still came to chat with us. Others were new since they had added more openings with two back-to-back conferences, so they had not heard of Healing Hearts before. After perusing the other tables, it occurred to me that we have the only Biblical counseling ministry there, unlike other conferences I have attended. I felt privileged to be able to tell women about HH and to minister to their hearts as well. Many of them came sharing their burdens, and it was so wonderful to share the hope we have in Christ and the gospel with them. Because there were several of us, we were able to spend time with each one as well, not feeling pressured or rushed because people were waiting to chat with us. I am thankful we had the computer with our study set up, as many of the women we spoke with did not have a counselor in their area. It was a great way to 'show and tell' about the online ministry, which can be hard to explain otherwise. Because this conference is so solid Biblically, we had steady traffic, even though we did not have a main speaker at the event. We were also able to network with other ministries whose focus is discernment, which enabled us to share HH with them and receive information from the speakers to help us engage with our clients/family members who are involved with these practices."

April 11 – 12 Southeast Regional Biblical Counseling Conference

We are always looking for ways to expand ministry in areas that do not have Healing Hearts' presence. Exhibiting at local conferences like SERBCC helps to promote this Ministry. Our Southwest Regional Director, Deb Mallon, wrote, "For a rather small event, Sue and I made some good contacts and some potential e-clients. We got a chance to discuss our ministry with some representatives of IBCD, and they were excited that we could be a possible resource for them to refer people to. All in all, it was a great event for my first conference."

We are blessed to be a part of these events, planting seeds and making people aware of the hope and healing that Healing Hearts offers to individuals broken by sin. We were so thankful for your prayers throughout!

If you would like to see us continue to reach other churches and individuals by exhibiting at events like these, please pray for the Lord to connect us with the right events and consider making a donation to our special "Help Us Go and Grow!" fund at healinghearts.org/donate. The funds raised through this special fund will go toward exhibiting fees and travel expenses as the Lord opens doors.

Thank you for your ongoing support!
