Healing Hearts Ministries Internaional [LOGO]

Dear Friend,

I would like to start my letter to you with a testimony from one of our e-ministry clients:

"I never knew pain, remorse, regret, anger, sadness. It became a part of me after I had my abortion. I never thought that it was a big deal to have one. I wasn't financially stable or married. I thought God wanted me to suffer because, I went against His rules. One day I stumbled on this site and I started to cry. It was a sign for me and I didn't feel alone anymore. Emotions ran high during this course for me and I am so glad I found it in time. I learned so much from this and I am still healing and will continue to do so. God has not given up on me and others like me. I know that my little baby boy is safe in God's arms and has forgiven me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless..."

As I read this testimony the sentence that really touched my heart was "God has not given up on me and others like me." As our e-ministry grows we are receiving testimonies like this daily from women who believed that somehow God had given up on them. There are millions of women just like this one who need the healing that God's Word has to offer and we have been called "for such a time as this" to reach out and minister to them. Please pray for our ministry as God leads and for the following special requests.

Missions - Our mission teams to Ukraine and Russia left Seattle on March 29th. Please pray for Teresa Rinker, Barb R., Kathy K. and Mikki H. as they minister to hurting women in the former USSR. Mikki H.'s mother passed away and her funeral was held on Sunday, March 26th. We ask that you especially pray for her during this time. She felt that the Lord wanted her to continue her mission even during this time of grief. The teams are planning several outreaches, and will also be conducting leadership training. Please pray for travel mercies, that God would grant them favor as they do the community outreaches and that they would bear much fruit for God's glory.

New Ministry Headquarters Building - I recently looked at a piece of property that I feel would serve us well as a ministry headquarters office. This is a very big step for us as a ministry but we truly feel that in order to reach the multitudes we must be visible and in an area where we can network with other ministries. We estimate that we will need to raise approximately $700,000 in the next two years in order to purchase the property and move the ministry from its current location. More information will follow. Please pray that God would give us wisdom as we seek His will in this area of our ministry.

E-Ministry - Please continue to pray for our E-Counselors. We have had so many people inquire and enroll in our studies that we can barely keep up with the demand. Please pray for Sally L. as she continues to refine the web page and for Lue F. who oversees this ministry. Pray that some of these clients will become leaders who will feel called to do e-ministry after they are trained.

Fund-raising - All over the Nation Healing Hearts leaders will be conducting walks to raise money for Healing Hearts. Our first walk will be in Grover Beach, California. Please pray for Maria E. as she coordinates that walk. Pray for walkers, many donors and for the Lord to draw people to the ministry there.

On May 22nd Healing Hearts will be sponsoring our Golf Benefit at Willows Run Golf Course in Redmond, Washington to raise funds for the ministry. Pray for our coordinator Bob Davisson, for more corporate sponsors than last year, golfers to participate, generous donors and for good weather.

CEO Magazine - Our ad was placed in the Washington CEO Magazine and also in the Tri Cities Magazine for March. We received word that the ad made it into the California magazine for the month of April. The purpose of this ad will be to attract corporate contributions and to give the ministry exposure. Our prayer is that the ad will be used to minister to hurting people in the corporate world. Please pray many will read the ad and will respond.

The Prison Ministry is going well, but we are short staffed to keep up with the demand. We are currently working with two inmates who have completed the Healing Hearts studies, hoping to be able to train them to help with the tremendous need inside the prison. Please continue to pray for Jenny H. who oversees this ministry that God would give her wisdom and direction as she ministers and trains other leaders.

We want to thank you for all of your prayers and financial contributions. We pray that the Lord will bless and keep you always.

In His Love,

Sue Liljenberg

International Director
