Healing Hearts Ministries Internaional [LOGO]

Dear Friend,

Did you ever play the game Red Rover growing up? I did. Though it was exhilarating, I recall “bracing for impact” every time it was the other team’s turn to charge through our linked arms. We had a blast playing, while hoping that our team would be the last one standing. If you are going to win this game, major strategy needs to be planned. Undoubtedly, the wisest battle strategy for Red Rover is to pick the two strongest partners to lock arms with in order to form an unbreakable line.

The Bible concurs with this winning strategy--the power of many standing together in battle. Ecclesiastes 4:12 tells us:

“A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.” (NLT)

With this in mind, last year the Lord led Healing Hearts to wisely choose some strong biblical ministry partners to link arms with in order to fight the good fight of faith…together. We would like to introduce you to the four members who stand with us on the Healing Hearts’ National Advisory Board (our chosen Red Rover partners). Each of these godly Christian leaders gives valuable aid to Healing Hearts in their advisory roles.

Healing Hearts National Advisory Board

Dr. Rosaria Butterfield locked arms with Healing Hearts after meeting us at the 2015 Answers for Women conference where she and Camille Cates, our Assistant Director, were both keynote speakers. Not only has Dr. Butterfield been a trusted advisor on topics such as same-sex attraction and transgender issues, she has also opened doors for us to be an exhibitor at The Gospel Coalition and G3 Conferences, where there were thousands in attendance and much interest in our ministry.
Dr. Mark Shaw was our featured speaker at Healing Hearts’ 2016 National Conference. Ask any of our attendees and they will most likely tell you that his teaching on counseling addictions was an incredible “feast” of information. Dr. Shaw is also the Executive Director of Vision of Hope, a residential home for women with various life struggles. He has invited us to share Healing Hearts with the residents of VOH on several occasions. Dr. Shaw also helped us acquire an exhibitor’s table at Faith Ministries’ biblical counseling and discipleship conference earlier this year. Currently, he and his colleague, Dr. Bill Hines, are working with us on the young men’s study as a counterpart to First Love.
Dr. Heath Lambert is the Executive Director for ACBC (The Association of Certified Biblical Counselors). He has personally met with us to discuss biblical counseling and post-abortion ministry. Healing Hearts has been featured on two of ACBC’s Truth in Love podcasts, and we have exhibited at ACBC’s annual conference the past several years. As biblical counseling questions, concerns, or ideas arise in our ministry, we have been able to communicate with Dr. Lambert and others at ACBC for helpful insight.
Dr. Georgia Purdom is a molecular geneticist working for Answers in Genesis and also oversees their Answers for Women ministry and conferences. From the very first Answers for Women conference, Dr. Purdom has invited Healing Hearts to exhibit each year as well as inviting Camille to be a keynote speaker in 2015 and again at their upcoming 2018 conference. She is a reliable source when questions come up regarding science and the Bible and how observational science is to be understood within biblical context. She is passionate about the Sanctity of Human Life and equally compassionate towards those who are post-abortive.

We hope you’ll agree that these are strong partners to link arms with in our effort to reach more people with the healing message of the Gospel and the whole counsel of God’s Word.

But, do you know who else we consider a reliable Red Rover partner? You! We could not “hold the line” without you.

Here are a few ways you can continue to link arms with us:
  • Donate items for our October online auction – hotel/guesthouse stays, event tickets, gift cards of $50 or more, unique experiences, etc. Submissions can be sent to: asstdirector@healinghearts.org
  • Pray for the publication of our young men’s study and the new men’s study; pray for the Binding Up the Brokenhearted and Hem of His Garment leader’s guide revisions.
  • Give to specific needs, such as outside conference expenses. It is costly to exhibit at these conferences, and when invited, we want to be able to readily accept the invitation. The exposure for our ministry is priceless.
  • Talk to your church or Christian organization, as well as friends and family, about our resources.

We are eternally grateful for your continued partnership with us. Your faithful prayers make a world of difference, as do your generous donations. This ministry cannot exist without supporters like you. Thank you for helping make this ministry known among your friends, church, and community. In Christ,
