We would like to take a minute and introduce Healing Hearts Ministries International. Our ministry was founded in 1988 by Sue Liljenberg who started
ministering to women who had had abortions. Sue personally experienced an abortion in 1972 at the age of 17, and for many years suffered both
emotionally and physically. After seeking help from physicians and psychologists, with no lasting resultes, she turned to the only source she knew could heal
her; the God who saved her, and His Word. After several years of study in God's Word and ministering to other women who were suffering from post abortion trauma, she authored an eleven-week Bible Study.

"Binding up the Brokenhearted" and its counterpart for men entitled
"Wounded Warrior" has been taught
to thousands with life changing and heart transforming results. Not only do individuals receive healing through these studies, but many come to know Jesus
as their Lord and Savior and are serving Him in different areas of ministry.
Due to the tremendous success of ministering to the brokenhearted, Sue authored another Bible study entitled, "The Hem of His Garment" that helps those
who have not had abortions, but have hurts in other areas of their lives due to abuse, addictions, divorce, and other hurts that need a healing touch from the
Lord. We have had great success ministering to women with this study and the non-post-abortive branch of our ministry is growing rapidly.
Currently at this time we are also testing our teen study written by Camille Cates and Sue entitled
"First Love". This study has had an amazing impact on the
teenage girls participating in our pilot groups throughout the country. There are talks within our youth ministry of writing a teenage boys study as well.
Camille's and Sue's desire is too see this next generation impacted greatly with the healing touch of our Lord Jesus Christ while ministering to their parents
through our adult studies.
How has the ministry grown? Healing Hearts now has representatives in 26 states and five foreign countries: Australia, Canada, Netherlands, Peru and
Russia. Sue sees such a need for healing in the hurt and broken hearts of our country and believes this is the largest mission field in the US and her vision
is to see a Healing Hearts trained leader in every bible-believing church across America and someday around the world.
We truly give thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ for all He has done through this ministry of hope & healing and for what He will accomplish in the future as we
