Canyon – This could have been carved out rather quickly during the global flood that Noah experienced, instead of hundreds of thousands or millions of years.

Underwater “Mystery Circle Design = Purpose & Function!

UNDERWATER “MYSTERY” CIRCLE

A Japanese underwater photographer was recently baffled when he discovered a beautiful “mystery circle” on the bottom of the ocean floor. (pictured left) After doing some underwater research with video cameras, the Japanese broadcaster NHK was able to solve the mystery when it was discovered that the circle was made by a male puffer fish. (pictured right) According to researchers, the male puffer fish built this beautifully decorative circle to attract a mate.  Not only did he spend his time and energy to create the many mounds and ridges, but he also put small pebbles and shells around this magnificent formation.  However, the puffer fish wasn’t just trying to romance a certain girl puffer fish, the circle also has a purpose and function.  The female puffer fish will travel through the ridges to  join the male puffer fish in the center.  There, puffer fish eggs are laid and fertilized.  The design of the circle’s
many ridges is thought to protect the eggs from being moved or destroyed by strong ocean currents.  Scientists are also suggesting that the shells  and rocks used by the male puffer fish to “decorate” may actually provide the newly hatched “baby” puffer fish with food and nutrients.
