Credit Card Charges
When donating toward an event, making a general donation, or using our shopping cart, your credit card will be charged immediately. To request a refund, see our contact information below.
Privacy
Your physical address is used to verify your identity when paying by credit card and, if you qualify for prizes, may be used in order to mail any prizes. When donating to Healing Hearts using our shop, your email address or physical address will be used to supply an IRS-required Giving Notice, which we are required by law to send to you. Your address may be added to our newsletter list, and you can easily opt-out at any time. However, neither your email nor your physical address will be shared or sold to a third party for any reason.
Security
Along with our credit card processing partners, we use industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to provide a secure and safe environment for credit card donations. Using a PCI compliant, nationally recognized secure credit card gateway service, your credit card will be used to process your transaction and will not be permanently stored on any on-line or off-line database system.
