Sue Liljenberg, Founder & President
Sue is the founding director of Healing Hearts Ministries and acts as Executive Director. Healing Hearts Ministries was birthed from Sue’s personal experience with an abortion at the age of 18 and all of the emotional and physical complications that followed. In 1982, she experienced healing from her abortion through Jesus Christ and felt led to comfort other women who have experienced the same trauma. Using the Bible as a foundation, she has counseled women since 1984 and is the author of three Bible Studies that have ministered to women across the United States and around the world. Sue was married to Gary Liljenberg in 1984 and is the stepmother to his three sons, Tim, Tom, and Mark. Sue is a former Boeing employee and her husband has worked as a Maintenance Machinist at the Boeing Company since 1968. Sue and her husband attend South Hill Calvary Chapel in Puyallup, Washington.
Teresa Rinker, Vice President
Teresa first became involved with Healing Hearts Ministries as a client in 1989. She currently serves as the Washington State Coordinator and oversees Foreign Missions. She and her husband, Scott were married in 1977 and have three children, Jason, Timothy and Lindsey and two grandchildren. Teresa and her family attend Calvary Fellowship in Mountlake Terrace, Washington.
Judy Hansen, Secretary
Judy has been with Healing Hearts Ministries since 1991 and has been the driving force in developing and overseeing it’s biblical training program. Judy has been involved in Christian ministries since 1982. She has had oversight for women's ministry, small group ministry, counseling ministry and she and her husband, Doug, have conducted bi-annual pre-marital classes in their local church. She and Doug were married in 1978 and attend Renton Christian Center in Renton, Washington.
John R. Lorette, Treasurer
John (Ron) became familiar with Healing Hearts through is wife Eileen who came into Healing Hearts as a client in September 1996. Eileen has since gone through the Healing Hearts training and is now leading Healing Hearts groups in their church. Ron has served as an associate pastor at Overlake Christian Church in Redmond and at Central Christian Church in Snohomish, Washington where he and Eileen worship. Education: BS (Geophysics), Western Washington University, Bellingham, Washington. BA (History), Central Washington University, Ellensburg, Washington. Ron and his wife Eileen now attend Westwood Baptist Church in Lacey, Washington.
Susan Owen, Member at Large
Susan first became involved with Healing Hearts as a client in 1993. She is currently serving on the Executive Committee. She and her husband, Jim were married in 1987. Jim, inherited an instant family and they now have five beautiful granddaughters. Susan is currently working in equine management and teaching horsemanship and Jim works for Safeway Stores, Inc. They attend Antioch Bible Church in Redmond, Washington.
