We appreciate your prayers for our leaders as God calls them out to minister to the afflicted around the globe. Please pray for Sue Liljenberg and Teresa Ortega as they prepare to travel August 27th through September 10th to Uganda and Zambia to provide leadership training at Pregnancy Resource Centers there. Please pray that many leaders will emerge to share the Gospel among the 18 individuals in Zambia and over 50 in Uganda that will attend training. Also, please pray for Harriet Walude, a trainee from Uganda. Harriet was badly injured in a car accident recently and lost her leg as a result. Please pray for physical healing and spiritual strength as she recuperates. God continues to bless the ministry financially by providing the needed $2,200 in travel funds for this mission. Special thanks to the donor for their generous gift! Teresa Rinker, Barb Reidberger, and Kathy Kennard are preparing for their mission to Ukraine September 24th through October 11th. They will visit Kiev, Odessa (a new area for Healing Hearts Ministries), and Pervomaisk to provide training, participate in outreach and leadership events, and make new contacts. Please pray for the physical and spiritual health of these leaders as they prepare for their mission. Also please continue to pray for housing in Kiev and good translators to travel with the group. Finally, please pray that the Word will reach post abortive women and ministry workers, and that the events will be well attended. After their visit to Ukraine, Teresa, Barb and Kathy will introduce Healing Hearts in Amsterdam Holland at Crossroads International Church (the largest church in Amsterdam). Two speaking engagement are scheduled; the first is an outreach event to women regarding post abortion trauma and healing and the other is an informational meeting concerning post abortion trauma, biblical counseling, and general ministry information for Pastors and church workers. Please pray for the leaders as they plan for their speaking engagements, open hearts to hear the Word, and travel mercies. Thank you for joining the ministry in praising the Lord for all He has provided and interceding with prayer on behalf of Healing Hearts leaders and clients. Thank you for your financial support as well, that allows us to reach more hurting women and men for Christ. We are so thankful for your faithfulness! Missions - Praise God as He opens the door to reach the hurting in Holland! E-ministry - God is currently reaching 84 hurting individuals through HH on-line studies! Prison Ministry - The ministry is grateful to the Lord for re-opening the door to the Dwight Women's Correctional facility! Current Leaders - Please pray for steadfastness for HH leaders as they step out in the Lord to share the Word! Pray also that they, as well as their families, will remain physically and spiritually healthy. Ministry Clients - Pray that unsaved clients would come to know Jesus and that God would touch every client and heal their wounded hearts. Prison Ministry - Pray that ministry will continue unabated at Dwight Women's Correctional facility. Pray that the screening of the inmates is successful, that Jenny and the inmate leaders will be spiritually prepared to lead two fall groups, and that the hearts of the inmate are healed. We praise God as He continues to raise up many leaders across the nation and around the world! There are eight trainees scheduled for the September 20-23 training. Please pray for ten additional trainees for the October 11-13 training as well. Also, please pray that our trainers will be well rested, equipped, and infused with the Holy Spirit as they teach the new leaders in the Word. Pray also that the trainees will be well prepared with open hearts to God's leading and teaching. Our sincere desire for new leaders is that they will leave training infused with the Spirit and ready to minister to hurting people in their communities and around the world via E-Ministry!
