March 1, 2006 Dear Friend, I would like to start my letter to you with a testimony from one of the leaders of our new study, "The Hem of His Garment," for non-post-abortive women. I wanted to tell you how God is working through "The Hem of His Garment." Late last year I led a coworker and friend, Carrie, through "The Hem of His Garment." She was really seeking healing, so one day she asked me what I had done that made me so much happier. So I told her about "The Hem." Over time we talked more about the study and Jesus, and she decided to go through the study with me. She learned so much, made a commitment to Christ and was baptized at my church late last year! Amazing! Her mom was so moved by her baptism that she got baptized soon thereafter. All of that was enough to convince her husband to come to church; after just a couple of visits he also committed his life to Christ! Then, their youngest daughter did, too. Dad and daughter were baptized at the same time! Carrie and her family are now active in church, learning and growing in Christ. Carrie believes God is calling her to Healing Hearts to become a leader, so she is entering that process with her husband's blessing. I cannot tell you how amazing it has been to watch God move through Jesus in this family! It is so inspiring and I am truly thankful that God allows me to play even a small part. - Sue Kelly It is so encouraging to see many of our leaders experiencing such a move of God in their ministries where not only the client is receiving salvation and healing, but their families are as well. Please pray for all of our leaders as they minister God’s Word to those who are hurting. One seed planted can reap an entire harvest. On March 29th we will be sending a mission team to Ukraine (Teresa R., Barb R. and Kathy K.) and another leader (Mikki H.) will be going to Russia through her church. The Ukraine team is planning several outreaches, and will also be conducting a leadership training. Please pray for travel mercies, that God would grant them favor as they do the community outreaches and that they would bear much fruit for God’s glory. It has now been four months since we implemented our new E-Ministry with all of our Bible studies on our web site. We have had a tremendous response. We are currently ministering to 81 individuals (60 post-abortive and 21 other). Due to the high demand, there is a need for our counselors to take several clients at a time. Please pray for the counselors and for this ministry. Last year we ministered to and trained a leader who is now ministering in Australia. We have the potential to spread Healing Hearts all over the world through the E-Ministry. The Prison Ministry is going well, but we are short staffed to keep up with the demand. We are currently working with two inmates who have completed the Healing Hearts studies, hoping to be able to train them to help with the tremendous need inside the prison. Please pray for Jenny H. who oversees this ministry, that God would give her wisdom and direction as she ministers and trains other leaders. Healing Hearts has been given a tremendous opportunity to place free advertising in Washington CEO Magazine. The purpose of this ad will be to attract corporate contributions that can be used to help grow the ministry. The ad has been designed and submitted and will soon be published. Please pray that God will use this ad to bring in much needed funds which will help us to purchase a Headquarters building and hire additional staff.
